Corneal refractive therapy
If you are nearsighted and do not want to wear glasses, corneal refractive therapy (CRT) could be a great option for you. CRT contact lenses reshape your eye while you sleep, so you can see perfectly clear throughout the day without lenses or glasses. Additionally, this procedure slows or stops development of nearsightedness in 50% of the patients.
Lasik laser surgery reshapes the front of your eye so you can see clearly without glasses or contacts. See Dr. Hirsch for a pre-op exam to determine if you are a good candidate for lasik.
Do you get tired or lose your place while you're reading? Does your child have difficulty with hand-eye coordination? Do you get fatigued or head aches when watching 3D movies (or do you have trouble seeing 3D)? If yes, you probably need vision therapy or glasses. These issues are common symptoms of immature eye tracking, poor focusing-teaming, and lazy eye.
